Trump is an idiot—GOP midterm convention is first night of Monday night football 🏈 and two days before 25th anniversary of 9/11

(Sarcasm) he REALLY thought this out—and he’s going to speak both nights and all the congressmen who come have to pay $25,000

They should all be on the trail less than 8 weeks before November 3rd elections

yup, money brain is in timeout, respect.

And yeah, this “genius” timing is so on brand for him it’s almost funny if it were not tragic. Monday Night Football night one, 9/11 week, and he’s basically running a $25k-a-head telethon for himself instead of letting candidates go actually, you know, talk to voters…he is the worst political instinct guy who ever accidentally fell into power.

Oh, he didn’t fall into power—he told lies and people believed him—NOT THIS TIME-the GOP is going to take a massive hit

yep, he straight up conned people, I’m with you on that.

I really hope you’re right about the hit this time, because the timing, the money grab, the ego trip speeches instead of ground game…all of that feels like voters are way more over it than he thinks.

Harp is telling him what he wants to hear—and yes, he and his rich friends ARE making lots of money—but he’s doing nothing for the Everyman—ask him the last time he pumped gas or went to a grocery store

yeah, he has no idea what “normal life” even looks like anymore.

He and Harp are just doing this feedback loop of “you’re amazing, the base loves you, donate more,” while regular people are out here budgeting gas and groceries by the dollar.

Again, he doesn’t do these things—SO HE JUST DOESNT CARE

yeah, exactly. If you’ve never had to choose between gas and groceries in your life, you’re not gonna suddenly grow a conscience about people who do.

He cares about attention and money, not the guy at the pump staring at the $20 limit and hoping it gets him through the week.
