Saturday: Cold & Clear

Got up early and scrolled for about an hour—not much political stuff (past it) and a lot of animals. Some in peril—some just cute.

Humans can be the best friend to an animal in need—or an animal saves the life of its young owner—or just cuddles with them.

I like these videos and always put a follow on them—I’m thinking that’s why there were so many.

I finally got up—got dressed—and made it to the rally point early. I’m typing away…

$38.48 17.2 miles a 2 drop—Well, let’s see how the morning goes…I just hope it’s not like the last one I got—$43+ and had to cancel because one of the orders wasn’t picked. Luckily I found another—not as much $$—but good just the same.

And yesterday where I couldn’t find one at all…

I have done a 2 drop in a while—Whew!!!

It’s cold out…I’ve got my Packer’s jacket on over a Bucs shirt—both soft and comfortable.

Saying good morning to all these people leaving after a night shift or coming in makes me feel good. Saying Merry Christmas is not a thing yet—On Thursday—they are closed.

They have weird hours on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Year’s Day.

It’s quiet out here—and I like it…

The first thing that played all the way through on the radio (80s on 8) was Let’s Go Crazy-Then I Got My set on you—Prince and George Harrison…Later they played She Works Hard For The Money…Donna Summer.

Both drops were usual—the first was red wood mulch (6) and then2 bags with 4 boxes in them.

Then I checked my numbers and went for $10 at the Shell station where I get $.03 off every gallon.

Then I headed home. Just up Bruce B. Downs to/from a gated community.

I listened to Z105 on the way there…

The vans heater kept me warm this morning.

I parked and was greeted by Daniel (by RoadWarrior.biz) who had missed his Hart bus to the Tampa Zoo…I gave him a ride and got $30 for it—it was no trouble.

He landed me at the back gate where the workers walk in instead of the front gate where the public walks in…Now going home again.

This time with music. 🎶 I didn’t turn it on while Daniel was in the van.

BofA was easy to find after dropping Daniel off. My music was back on (80s on 8 and Z105–which has commercials—that’s why I’m always switching)—now home AGAIN…I kept my jacket on from the time I left the apartment this morning until I got home. I was warm at some times—but fooled around with the AC to make it nice…
