A Good Day? (#1001)

Today: I got up early. I dressed. I left for Fletcher Walmart—I got there around 7am 🕖 Supposed to work at 8am

Jorge answered the same Saturday afternoon one off

He is/was the Chase Driver

No extra people!!! We got along great—he was there when I needed him and even had some good ideas of his own…

The first run was about half hour late—the van I was assigned was not starting—even with a jump—so I was assigned another one…

The ride was ok 👍 I had AC and music from my phone.

The second one didn’t go quite as well—no AC—but everything else worked.

I wore a hat today and could only open the window a smidge so that my hair wouldn’t (it did) fly in my face and glasses. And, every time I stopped it got hot with no air coming through the windows…Follow the journey, not just the destination…An hour and 45 minutes later I was home—changed into night clothes and parked in front of the TV—between the news and Hallmark

Theresa finally came out of her room and started asking me questions—after I had PB&J for dinner—I finished my Milo’s and will open last pineapple juice later—I washed out the 20oz holders when I ran the dishwasher

Tomorrow I’m looking forward to $215 coming my way.

I didn’t work the whole night—I got 4 hrs and 25 minutes instead of 6 1/2—with Qwick I’m 1 for 3–I can’t work for them anymore.

And, my working for Draiver today which means I’ll get about $140 tomorrow at 4pm

I’m feeling much better than I was after working the Qwick gig—I explained about feeling it in my muscles (Taking A Shot At Love)

Today I’m fine—and have been since I was able to get out of bed reasonably easy this morning…

and honestly? the Draiver run sounded way more you anyway. Jorge being a solid co-driver, no random extras, AC and your own music on the first van. that's your wheelhouse

the Qwick thing you already know in your gut. 1 for 3 and you're walking out early because it's not worth being miserable. Draiver actually showed up for you today, that's the signal
