I Think I Got A Full Time Job

Last week, as I have done many times, I went to Craigslist. That day I found 2 posts that were worth saving. One did not pan out. The other I got a text after a phone call to Mike--he was the person that listed his phone number in the ad.

It took a few days--all of the weekend, Monday and Tuesday--and texting that would come tomorrow.

Wednesday--I got a call to come in and work for the Manager (Chris) could see how I worked out.

I found out I would work for 3 hours and not be paid (in training). I actually worked for an hour an a half--I did a lot: I threw out all the trash in the outside trash cans--and all the trash from the inside ones too. I sprayed down the pumps and took a crack at both the coolers.

I didn't do well with the coffee and will have to learn how to do it right...

I will get paid by check on every 2nd Tuesday. Works for me...!!!

Right now I am waiting to hear from Mike if Chris does need me--and when.

The Shell Station that I would work at is down the street from where I live. (3 minutes by car)

The only problem I see is that I speak only English--I noticed a lot of Middle Eastern and Spanish speaking people...There is going to be a lot of pointing!!!

My only ask was that I keep Monday mornings off so I can drive D to her class (6 minutes away) I've already driven her 3 times and the class is 9 weeks--and then changes venue.

By driving D I am keeping Bluesyvoss LLC/RoadWarrior.Biz going on in the background.
