Since I got home I’m on my 3rd movie in a row…I watched the news for a little while first—but found my groove…Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper! And They Met In December are great. Robert Buckley as Ted Cooper with Kimberly Sustad playing the female lead Hope…And Autumn Reese’s and Niall Matter play hide and seek with each other from the layover to Chicago that they both have to endure for 2 days before they meet. And once they meet—they talk—enough to find each other in the end…
Like every Hallmark movie two people get to know each other over an hour and a half and then something happens that splits them apart—then two commercials later they end up kissing and ending on a high note.
Formulaic, but the kind that always feels right—and if you look at the clock you can find out exactly where they are in getting to know each other…
That’s how it starts and ends most of the time. They don’t know each other at all and have (or usually have) preconceived notions about the other one—As the 2 hours go by they get to know each other better—and in the last scene—after the commercial at :48 after—they get together—or meet back up.
Hallmark Movies usually end in a kiss…
