AOL Email (Mail)

I’ve had the same email address for many years—the older one I used became a problem when no one got that it was supposed to be Ms. not my initials and it ended in @mail instead of @gmail…

It confused EVERYONE and I had to change it.

dani_greenfield@aol.com—straight—direct—me

And for the record I picked AOL for 2 reasons: it was short—my last name is 10 letters—with my first name and the underscore it’s pretty long…

I used it when @mail got old (explanations) and the movie with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan “You’ve Got Mail”

I liked the movie and took the short moniker…And low and behold—it worked.

Only in the past month have I used the filing system to keep all of the things I’ve written or screenshotted—I didn’t want to lose the stuff I wrote like my last website—I only saved 70 out of the 150 I’d written…

Now I have a record of everything…
