Meds

I’ve been taking medication since I was 22. I’m 53 now. My birthday is the end of May.
If you’ve been reading I found out I had ADHD when I was 4-5. I navigated school with it—even took an extra year of 10th grade?
They tried Ritilan but I wouldn’t take the pills 💊
Truth is I’ve always and still do have trouble taking pills. Usually on a commercial so I’ve got the time to swallow and get the pill(s) down.
At some point (early 2000s) I found out I was Bipolar…
I had a problem with driving at some point and had to see a Dr to get my license back AT 22.
Who knew that the job I picked to do—transportation—pickup and delivery—would be tied to this…
I take 3 pills—one in the morning and two closer to bedtime. And it’s been like that for a while.
I have a psychiatrist and he proscribes my meds.
My regular Dr used to proscribe more for pre-diabetes—but I beat down my AC1 to normal levels and stopped taking the statins.
Now I take gummies each day to help with my health. And occasionally Melatonin to help me sleep. And Ibuprofen when I overdue myself.
I see this going on until the day I die—or just can’t take pills anymore…
