They sat down for ice cream after ordering up front. What they were brought made their taste buds laugh and giggle. Ana had Chocolate Caramel with pieces of chocolate chips in it. Kim decided to go with Strawberry--with pieces of Strawberry in it.
After they were done with their ice creams it was time for them to go home.
Kim walked to her house--which was right off of Main Street--where the ice cream place was.
Ana had a little longer walk--She started down the hill to the bunch of houses that had grown in the past few years down by the stream. She had never lived anywhere else and was happy to see the town growing--things she couldn't have done years ago were easily being put into place. The redo of the library for one thing--it had always been there--but small. Now grown into a library worthy of a college campus. There was a college campus miles away.
When she walked in the door she was greeted by her mother. A happy woman who would do something for anyone who needed it--but she had taught Ana the same--though not as much in practice as her Mom.
She went up to her room and fell onto her bed--she said out load "Now that was fun."
