Yesterday was a big day—I set the alarm for 4:30am and got up and out…I was in the van at 4:52am. I made it to Anderson (Airport) Penske.
I parked and waited for Jose to get there. We waited for one other person and headed the 2 hours to Ft. Meyers.
It was easy to get my 26ft 11ft truck. They brought it out to me while I made a bathroom run.
Five pictures and all the questions and the parking brake off—and I was out…
Jose followed me for a while—then went off on his own way—home probably…
I stopped at a rest stop—costing me 20 minutes.
And drove the rest of the way straight.
The girl we had in the car this morning was already gone.
I put my charger back in the van and set out for home.
I got home at 11:50am and turned on the last 10 minutes of Gilmore Girls.
Then the news—and a Hallmark movie that was fun to watch with good characters and story. (From (#910))
At some point later in the evening the trash valet came and got the rest of the stuff I wanted to throw out. We are friends. So the fact that my boxes were not folded didn’t completely cheese him off…
I also used someone else’s bag to get rid of my med bottles—I had a few dozen. It took an extra few minutes but he move quickly…
I had been in bed when I heard him outside and jumped up when I heard him—apparently someone else had the same idea and he helped us both.
At that point I couldn’t go to sleep—I turned on the radio…
It was off by the time I got up to go to the bathroom which is weird because I would’ve had to yell at Alexa—who usually came around on the second yell…
Alexa is awesome—she plays my music and when I want it—my books.
It’s set at a very low volume—I can’t hear it when I go to the bathroom—just next to my head.
