I woke up early again—at 3:40am I asked Alexa to turn on 80s on 8 (Sirius XM)—I listened for a little while until there was a song played that I had never heard before—and that’s saying a lot…
After that Rockwell came on—Somebody’s Watching Me.
It’s the only song Michael Jackson sang backup on because Rockwell’s father asked him to—he was a big wig—and I can’t remember his name—I just looked it up—Berry Gordy.
I could get up right now and do a Spark before my Zifty—but I think I’m just going to listen to music for a while (knowing that the ACH to pay Sirius XM came through when I thought I’d get ahead) so I listen because I know I can!!
It’s 4:25am and I’m still listening…I COULD go out and do one Spark before the Zifty—but I don’t wanna. I’ve got the fan on, but I’m warm under the comforter…
Then it totally slowed down with George Michael’s Careless Whisper.
I turned on Far From Over by Frank Stallone.
It’s SUCH a reved up song 🎵 and the instrumental parts are AWESOME too!!!
Next Ilene Cara’s Fame—remember the show?? I was a bit to young for the first few years, but I did catch on toward the end. Then LeRoy died and they took the show down all together and rarely play clips.
Music can bring back MANY memories—good and bad…
I can just sit here rating songs from a bygone era…
Holding Out For A Hero by Christie MCVie brings back A LOT of memories—CoverUp—John Eric Hexum and Voyagers—how much promise he had until he Russian Roulette with a prop gun—and lost 😠
His co-star on Voyagers was banking on a season 2–not heard in star circles again.
His cousin was Soiel Moon Frye who played Punky Brewster—she had a GOOD run…
Then I switched to Hourglass by Squeeze.
This is Apple Music—anytime I asked to change the order—going back to 80s on 8?
It’s to late to leave for that Spark now…
Now Cool & the Gang—not Celebration—Mislead—totally different vibe…
In about 5 minutes Way To Early w/ Ali Vitali will be on. MS NOW
Last song 🎶 Pour Some Sugar On Me—played in the Piper Peribo—John Goodman movie…Stopped at 4:58am
Now to enter this in my-diary.org; finish this Diary Journal; making it a Blog—then sending it to myself (and Mom if I wanted to) Saving each one in AOL under $$ All My Writing 2–the first one I switched a few days ago when there was a timely lul.
Also Nicknamed “Music—What A Rush”
