What a morning--I didn't want to get out of bed after I realized that it was already 7am--I just kinda jumped--but Im not feeling IT
Maybe I could go out later in the morning--when the traffic is done
Hallmark is welcome--but MSNBC is keeping my mind moving...
Next I tried music--and it worked--I fell asleep for a little while waking up to Thriller...
It might be the right time to remember that yesterday I finished a 16 drop in record time.
All of my end (delivery) times were before the times they had put up---I shaved off about 15 minutes!!!
Even my normal dosage of ibuprofen could help.
This goes a long way to keeping me in the saddle.
My metrics here are good--as good as the Sparks that i usually do...
Yesterday I did Roadie number 855. (Multiple years)--up until yesterday I hadn't done one since April 25, 2025
Yesterday I was able to get into big numbers. $74.97 is not a little jump--and THEY DONT ALWAYS ACCEPT SO QUICKLY

Sparks--Ive done 391. (And that’s mostly THIS year)--The most I did was one for $69 24 drops

Roadies--they accept you after you pick one gig to do...Sparks--they give you choices and you get to accept--first come, first served...
Roadies tell you how big or how many drops it is. Sparks they keep track of you by your metrics. They give you choices that they think you can do...That’s why my acceptance rate is so low. I can pick what I want anytime--but the more I dont accept--thats when my number goes down--its supposed to be at at least 40.
Roadie Ive been kicked off twice AND let back in.
Spark has never shut me down because I've always kept my metrics up.
Both platforms are easy to use once you get use to them--using your phone like a scanner is old hat for me. As i have mentioned before, i started 25 years ago (January 3, 2001)
We had Airborne Express Consolidated vans.
We used CBs and primitive scanners--then walkie talkies and better scanners all while using maps until GPS and phones became a normal thing.
Now we use our phones and the app to do ALL the work. Both still want us to end with a picture.
Some things have changed--but once phones were ushered in, pictures became the norm.
Some ask questions at the end and keep track of combination numbers for gates and where to leave things...OTHERS DONT.
The main difference between Roadie and Sparks are the way that they talk to their drivers.
Roadie still makes you give them a phone call--this could take minutes or 45 minutes.
Sparks are done with Chat--in the app; SO MUCH easier--but then you shouldn't be having trouble with either of them--if you know what you're doing...
Spark chats are only needed when a sticker with the number you need comes off or for a return--sometimes you cant get into a gated community and have to take whatever it is back to where you started...
Both these things are NOT a regular occurrence.
All of them are pretty people friendly once you complete the first one or two--Ive gone well beyond that.
