Sunday before big trip.
I’ve got everything ready.
The stuff I’m bringing.
Two aqua bags (night clothes & Paperwork + Painters tape foe the decals on whatever I’m driving—26ft truck 1026 miles 17 hrs (actually 14 hours and 15 minutes—the rest is the fly home)
I also have one more bags that has served me well over the past 6 gigs (now 7) It’s a small bag—very colorful and it keeps all my chargers—two bluetooths paper and pen and I added in my towel from Busch Gardens.
The plan is to ride share to the airport. Leaving my van at home and not paying for parking.
I’ll get to the Economy lot and pick up the truck and start driving…
Many miles later I will find a place to stop…All of this can be done over chat—not just the phone line last time. If I have a problem or need to make a reservation I CAN at any hour…
Because I won’t have any extra money I’m hoping that the 20oz Fanta Pineapple will do it…
I don’t plan to eat all day—maybe I can fit in my cookies? Each individually wrapped—it would be perfect as long as they don’t get crushed.
It’s gonna be a long day—but I’ve had long days before and I can rise above and do my best.
Fourteen hours and 15 minutes is how long to get from Lake Wales, Florida to Baltimore, Maryland.
Just keep going until you get to your destination—in this case Penske of Baltimore—starting off first from the airport to I-Deal Storage (Lake Wales)
There shouldn’t be any problems until I get to city streets—I have nothing on white knuckling…LOL
Draiver will find me a place to stay for the night and then fly me home after I’m finished with the gig.
I can’t call Mom & Dad for ANYTHING…And, I didn’t last time—this time neither. And after I get paid $386.72 and the $100 Tilt on Saturday I should be in a good position…
First, it all has to work out—and I believe in my heart of hearts that it will—that all the fears about doing this on my own will just wash away—when I’m finished and on my way home.
