Schmitt tried to catch Smith in a lie yesterday and completely screwed himself when the information was wrong.

He asserted that Smith was in Atlanta February 3, 2024—that Smith was at a basketball game

That’s where it all fell apart.

Smith was indeed at a game—just in Maryland not Atlanta—and after calleing him a dirtbag, should have apologized!!!!!

Later—after fact checking there was a picture of the two teams and where they played WITH THEIR MASCOTS—Smith said he was watching Caitlin Clark—and they found tape of him at her game.

Spitzer looked like the worst kinda guy. And Amy Klocbishar stuck it to him…

No—she, Amy Klobusher, was pissed that he didn’t fact check—and that she had to bring some real into it

Also Smith remembering was good too—but he shouldn’t have had to

Spitzer gave him the date without ANY context and was hoping to catch Smith in a perjury trap

And Spitzer is a republican and Klobishar is a democrat

It shows Spitzer is low character and Kibochar is a Democrat …

It was an On camera hearing—he did this in front of any MAGA watching her teams
