Said Goodbye To Commission Job

Yesterday I was SO happy that someone thought that I was a good fit for their all commission job--
After talking to my family it was made clear that this was not the path I should be taking to secure a full time job.
"Any job you have to pay to pay to get is not a good job." I'm quoting my Mother & Sister.
I got out. I signed out of LinkedIn where I had one month to decide--and could only message once (not right) and I called Glenn's number and left him a message that I was not interested in joining the group anymore.
Back to Craigslist and Roadie and Zifty. I've found jobs with them MANY times. But, they don't come as close to where I live much anymore. I live far enough away from Tampa Central, St. Petersburg and Clearwater that these jobs don't make sense gas wise.
Then there are Monster, Snap job, Indeed and a couple of other that I've tried to get into.
No one (not managers) will take a lone resume from someone who walks in because they've seen a "We're Hiring" sign. I can try to apply for anything that I think I'm qualified for--but the onboarding is the worst. It says your application has gone through--then nothing.
Hey, but I'm no quitter--I'm going to keep looking until I can find a non 1099 job that will give me a W2 form at the end of the year...The 1099s give their form at the end of the year too. But, as I have found out over the last 30 years of working--you make a lot more on the W2 form when you can see a 9-5 day come and go. The side hustles don't have this feature.
BACK TO WORK TRYING TO FIND A FULL-TIME JOB AGAIN...
