A Day Out Of Need—Music & NO SHOPPING 🛍️ Plus Zifty #11
I woke up at 4am and decided to get up after I started out by going into my OP account and making sure everything was good—then I went to Orion (Financial App) and updated my numbers. Then this morning started out with music. I hadn’t used the van yesterday, so when I got in I turned on the radio and heard the end of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister, then Michael Jackson “Don’t Stop ‘Till You Get Enough” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen. The lyrics are below…By the time I got to the rally point “Maneater” by Hall and Oates was playing…I got to the rally point at about 4:50am…
The weather was perfect—a little cold—but with the breeze it was nice. I know it will get warmer later—again, the breeze is nice.
Waiting is the worst. I woke up early enough to get a Spark before my Zifty. The Zifty is at Burger 21, which is right in the middle of Dale Mabry…Not a far reach if I get that first HD???
I NEED Q-Tips!!!! For my ears…
It’s actually nice sitting here in the silence—no crows this morning…
I came out this morning because I’m starting at a disadvantage—negative $36.75 and ➖ $8.09.
I’m being real and thinking that I’m not going to get this in one foul swoop—but I can knock it down—and it gives me something to to do while waiting for my Zifty…I have to be on around 9am 🕘 I can eak out a Spark…Then look forward to the $36.41 for the Zifty—which I won’t get until next Monday…???!!!
Talking to Aunt Missy: An early morning trying to get a Spark before my Zifty (9am)
I’m underwater—but I can at least take a whack at it???!!!
Not a single thing came up until 5:43 and 5:47—neither I would take—the first one was not in my area and the second one was a 1501–but a shopping 🛍️ with 2 drops!!
Well, even if this turns out to be a nothing morning—I’ve still got a nice blog…
Even the $41.55 isn’t worth it because it’s a shopping —not a Pickup—44 minutes my ass…5.1 miles and 1 drop would make it excellent—but then there’s always the shopping thing—which I’m not particularly adept at…I have to look for Gigs that are ASAP or have a time stamp.
The Pickups usually take longer—but that is NOT the difference…
I’ve taken Shoppings before—but not all of them turned out right—the one with the 4 bags of rice was ok—but the rest just left me winded…and confused—why couldn’t I find this item???
Let me tell you, the confusion ISNT WORTH IT!!!!
It’s 6:30am now—not a single one that I would have taken a second look—ok, maybe the $41.55???
I’m just going to wait until it’s time for my Zifty…And, hope that my Draiver payment hits on Thursday night so I can pay the Spectrum bill on time—I found out I have until the 30th to pay 💰 So the $112.50 will come in by Friday and I can pay the $38.70.
$28.37 15.8 miles 2 drop—it won’t get me out of the red—but it will take a GIANT leap forward…Then I can go to my Zifty at Burger 21 🍔 on N Dale Mabry.
Both of them had perishables—the first one, over 20 minutes away had two bags of ice. And, I couldn’t get anyone to answer the door at the Girl Scouts building. Just as I was about to call Spark a woman came out—she said she got stuck on a call. She went back inside and brought out a cart. The ice fit in the bottom and the other stuff on top.
The second one I had to call to find out where to deliver—I left it at the front desk with the security guard—just as the woman had told me to do—she also floated the idea of bringing the boxes up to 650–but the security guard took them…
I got half the money on my gig—so I’ll get some tomorrow—it’s not like it was going to flip the overdraft—but I’ll be closer tomorrow…
I stopped for gas at Shell. $10 on #12. I also used the restroom…
My metrics are still good: 498 gigs; 96% on time arrivals; 98% I take when I accept; and a 4.7 to boot. 4.7 is the magic number for Sparks—it means that next week, when April starts I’ll belong to Walmart for free—you usually have to pay (EST.) $100
I was 4.6 for a while and that knocked me off—April I can get back in…
Now it’s 8:50am and I’m waiting for my Zifty. I’ve still got 22 minutes and then about an hour to wait until pink turns to green.
It’s 9:16am and I have to wait until 10:35am.
Then I can deliver…I played with my Yuno app for a little while and finished top of the leader board for finishing Diogenes. Confucius is tomorrow; plus I can take quizzes on Art & Music—Level 4.
It’s the perfect temperature out…Not to hot or to cold…And, with the windows open in my van—I’m comfortable.
Took about half my drink of Lipton Green Tea Citrus. It’s my last one. I bought some blue Gaterade as my next drink; Glacier Freeze 🥶
My 4th finger on my left hand STILL looks totally messed up—it’s been that way for over a week when it was still pussing. About 3 days ago it popped and all the pus came out—but it still looks pretty bad. I haven’t covered it in any way—that’s why it might have popped—but it doesn’t hurt now—a week ago it did…
Every single one of these Ziftys is different…
Some have bags; some trays; some boxes and other modes of transporting food and drinks…I’ve had my Academy cart for a while and that usually works—others like the PDQ Chicken order (210 meals) for Amazon ($109.xx) I fit in my van the best way I know how—they all fit on the floor and a few fit in the front…
The gentleman today is in a snit about the timing—I can see the order at 10:35am but I can’t take it until 10:45am
Took 7 packages and put them in my cart—2 trays—5 bags…
Delivered before picture time over…Maze to get in and out of building—but they showed me.
Going home—9 minutes (N. Florida Ave) Just over 2.2 miles…
Home at 11:30am—changed clothes—sat down to watch Gilmore Girls: the episode where they go to see the Bangles.
