Good Morning (#951)

I woke up around 3am 🕒 and couldn’t get back to sleep.

I got something to drink (Milo’s) and then after getting back into bed I went and took my med—all with the lights off. There is now enough room to move things around in the fridge so that the things I use are up from…

Theresa did 3 loads of the dishwasher after I took my stuff out yesterday…She still has more—but is putting most of the stuff in her room. She has already filled the side of cabinets I gave her.

But, all in all, it seems to be working.

We agreed on the blue pillow. And we get along. She doesn’t need as much help as I thought she would. It’s nice to be helpful—but not on EVERYTHING…Whew!!!

In a couple of hours I’ll get my hair and nails done.

It’ll be the first time I leave her alone in the apartment—I know I have nothing to worry about—but I still have trepidation…Not as much as on Friday when she moved in.

She has Dessa, Lee and Holly. I met Dessa and Lee and Alan (one of their sons) and Holly, who controls the money.

She’s going to pick up Theresa around 2-3pm and they will go shopping for what’s left needed.

I told her that I wouldn’t be the right person to help put anything together (Alan or Dessa maybe)

The door will be locked when I get home (I hope)

I taught her if she didn’t go far to leave it unlocked—I hope she’s smart enough to lock the door when she leave the apartment complex????

I have given he a bunch of stuff: 2 mini gatorades—a light fixture—cherry dessert and helped her with her stuff—mostly with turning on the dishwasher—she did it once and quickly turned past heavy—I did it the other two times—so far.

She let me hang out in the common room all day.

Not a bad Hallmark movie in the bunch.

At some point I picked up and went to my room—with the TV on. I fell asleep before the Saturday night movie—maybe I’ll watch it tonight at 6pm .

I’m betting that there won’t be as good a Hallmark day and I’ll have to watch the news.

It was a breath of fresh air to NOT watch the new all day yesterday!!!!

Theresa and I are friends now. And I don’t mind the cat as long as it stays in her room…Sweet cat.

Sweet girl—we didn’t disagree on anything…We just kept going—me moving stuff into my bedroom and utility closet—there was room for her stuff in there too.

We worked it out ourselves…Almost 48 hours and we’re getting along well. Friends.
