Election Tuesday--November 4th

Its interesting how things can be all up in the air. Today is Tuesday November 4th--the first Tuesday in November--Election Day or Voting Day...This is an off year--So there are only a couple of states participating.

New Jersey, Virginia, New York and California are the ones moving the file this time.

New Jersey and Virginia are your basic elections--there’s a winner and a loser. And it does depend by how much.

New York is a Mayor’s Race--the biggest in the US. So whoever wins will be thrust into the spotlight and have a lot of things to do...

Then there’s California--Prop 50. A question wether to redistrict or not.

The Republicans redistricted 5 seats in Texas ahead of the election so they thought they couldn’t lose the election in the House or Senate in 2026.

What they didn't count on was the Democrats coming back and asking voters--we’ll find out by tonight--if they will redistrict California to get five seats....

What Trump did was illegal by asking to have Texas redraw their maps not after the census--but mid decade.

This whole thing today is a referendum on Trump. If he wins? Democracy takes a swift kick in the ass. If he loses--then the guardrails that he took down may look a little higher. And he can be held off until next November--when most states and localities will vote...
