Calm Friday

Went to the bathroom at 4:15am. Was out with the van running at 4:37am. Was at the rally point by 4:52am. Ready to start another day…

I got my $19.50 for the Zifty I did on Tuesday which brought my overdraft out. $8.14 isn’t something to crow over—but it’s NOT underwater.

The decision to get food yesterday while out turned out to be a good one. And, Jorge let me eat in his car…That was the best thing—no wasting time.

There were no issues with the drops yesterday except that Jorge kicked the hornets nest when he called Draiver and asked a question that I answered multiple times—he found out he was wrong—something that I did didn’t affect him. Then I called Draiver and smoothed it out myself…

The problem was with the taking pictures. The VIN is one and on my phone I have to put it in manually—Jorge (the Chase Driver) thought HE was going to get charged $25 the way I it did it…NOT. And, then the other 5 pictures—all of this done every time I got a van and returned a van—except for the VIN number which I only did on getting the van…

Yesterday I used the VINs that were texted to me the night before—a cut and paste—this is what Jorge objected to—not a problem.

Jorge has one job. To get me from one place to the other so I can drive the next van or truck. I like him and hope to work with him again…Not just on March 6th & March 19th.

Again, no issues with the pickups or drives.

Another quiet day—Greg not blasting the blower this morning…After a little while.

First drop was easy—Second drop was also easy but behind a manned gate—I had to take out my license 🪪

On the way back I got another:

$28.49 16.7 miles 2 drops (Sam’s Club) 7am

It’s not cold 🥶 but I do need my jacket at 50 degrees—I don’t have to worry about sweating 😅 I just take off my jacket?

The first drop was an alcohol and it was easy—I had called and texted I was coming and he was ready!! The 2nd had no gate and was easy to deliver—both being perishables I had to deliver them—and did—LONG before my time was up…

The $9 I spent yesterday is going to last me today—I’ll fill up on the way home 🏠

Also got $13 Toilet Paper 🧻 from Amazon.
