Bags & CBs

No scrolling early this morning…I get a lot with animals—cute stuff—plus the hardback ones that keep me in the know.

My Spark at 5:15am had me waiting until 6 when they opened—nothing from outside—four very easy deliveries—the last one I had to go in the gate backwards…

Then I got $10 in gas.

I couldn’t find another Spark—so I went to Roadie—found one at Tractor Supply—it had 2 drops and 4 bags (3 & 1)

The first was the one bag—I rang the doorbell and she asked her husband what he ordered…

The second one was off a dirt road—I delivered all three to the gentleman and his family right into their garage…

Earlier on my way to the last one I called Mom because it was after 8am.

She got mad at me for being on the phone while driving—not realizing that at the beginning of my 25 years doing this we were on CBs—all hand up.

We did the same with Walkie Talkies and other scanners—so I can see today how she would question my hands on approach?

And no—I don’t put it in a holder…if I have to turn it over because it’s facing the wrong way—now that was dangerous!!!! Now it just goes on my passenger seat—or I hold it low enough the cops won’t see it…When I have conversations like I did with Mom this morning I get caught holding closer to my mouth—I’ve been lucky—no different than the days when I would eat my lunch in between runs. THAT had to be done in a safer way…

Right now I’m at home—trying to decide wether to go out later and get a $$ Spark or get picked for a Roadie…Waited as Roadies went by—then I got one. A $40+ one.

After the first drop off from Petsmart (4 together) I got $10 in gas…and hit the head (the bathroom).

The rest of the deliveries have been pretty good—even the heavy one (1 of 4).

Big secret: I hate roundabouts and stairs!!!

The Weather and the Music are perfect today…

P.S. The last one was 20 miles out!!!

But delivered at 12:05pm—which means I get both at 3:05pm (yes, it’s ALWAYS been three hours…)

Now to Home—It’ll take 45 minutes…
