Ok, I've got it all down--but now I have to start...I don't feel like going out this morning (or today)

I still have tomorrow to get the $60 back before 4-5 bills on Thursday--I'm flirting with the idea to do a Roadie--if one comes close enough to be worth it???

Silence is working for me—no TV, no music—but I think that’s about to change…

Today is the day that the Epstein Files are going to be voted on in the House--Speaker Johnson keeps talking about the Democrats not using transparency during the Biden Presidency.

He keeps saying that Biden could have done something--not likely.

Ghilanne Maxwell was still being tried--for the 20 years she got and then her move to another prison...

They want to redact all the names--the bad ones as well as the good ones...They don't seem to care about the victims--just the perpetrators.

The vote today is probably going to be 100% for the discharge in the House and 12-13 in the Senate will be done.

What will Trump do? Try to get out of it somehow...

He can open the files NOW--without the vote 😡

Spent the afternoon watching MS NOW until I couldn't take anymore.

Then watched Hallmark for a while--actually fell asleep for a little while.

Next I ditched the TV and turned on Sirius XM 80s on 8...

Well, the House did it—they all voted unanimously for the bill to release the Epstein Files…I was wrong—it was 427 to 1.

Now we have to see what Thune does with the Senate and if Trump is going to sign what they put on his desk…Or will take some obscure rule and twist it so he doesn’t have release the files?

Well, now the Senate has spoken and passed the bill in it’s original form. After it is transmitted it will go to Trump’s desk.

Now if he tries SOMETHING to not release the files—he’s dead in the water. Both the House and Senate voted against what he wanted—but he’s going to look very weak if he doesn’t sign the bill—again, in its current form.

Also, Texas lost the gerrymandering fight 2-1. Both were Trump appointees. 2021 map was not gerrymandered—2025 was—2 No votes.

Trump did this big and bold and asked to Texas to give him 5 seats in Congress—He took a big swing AND HE LOST…The courts are still working as a Balwark against Trump’s worse devil moments…Democracy holds firm. And we still get the gerrymandered California map—voted for by the people of California. Five seats.
